Protecting Your Privacy

Your privacy is of utmost importance to me, and here is how I protect it.

Confidentiality

I will never discuss your name, identifying details (gender, ethnicity, hobbies, profession, physical details, etc), or anything shared in our sessions with anyone in my personal life. Everything you share stays between us.

Clinical Supervision

I will discuss session material and client matters with a trusted clinical supervisor, who is themselves bound by confidentiality. This is required as part of my professional registration (NZAC) and a normal part of my professional development. This is also to ensure you receive the best care possible.

Shared social circles

If you're concerned that we might share social circles, we can check for that before we begin working together. And even if we decide not to work together, I'll keep the fact that you reached out completely private.

It may also be worth knowing upfront that I'm active in Auckland's Latin and West Coast Swing dance scenes.

If you have any specific concerns, please let me know using my message form.

If we meet outside of sessions

To further protect your privacy, if we happen to cross paths outside of a session, I won't acknowledge that we know each other unless you choose to first. If you'd like to acknowledge me, or share the nature of our connection with others, that's perfectly ok and entirely your call. I'll respect whatever level of privacy you'd like to maintain.
